Timeline of key points

  • December 2023 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------> August 2023
  • Chloe was informed of the sale in December 2022.
  • Chloe had a meeting with the client in January 2023 to discuss artwork, processes and any question the client had.
  • Artwork was received in May, unfortunately they only sent over a small number of files some of which were too large to be used- more files in a smaller size were requested to be sent.
  • Started process of getting the campaign running and live- this takes approximately three weeks to do
  • Campaign went live June 2nd 2023 ran smoothly until it finished.
  • Had correspondence mid-way through the campaign to update on performance to date.
  • Campaign finished August 9th and final statistics and overall performance was sent to the client.

Lows

  • Artwork took lots of chasing to receive, as the client was not always the most responsive.
  • Clients don’t were very busy took lots of support, chasing and repeating myself to get through to them.

Highs

  • Client was lovely to deal with- recognised campaign going live late was an error on their part and didn’t apply pressure to get it done.
  • Was a successful campaign with an exceptional high CTR- a great first campaign to have run.
Key takeaways & learnings for future campaigns
  • Request and start creating artwork early on: it requires lots of artwork in various sizes . Its better to chase early on than risk going live late and the customer  being upset. 
  • Be clear and concise  including all relent information’s, don’t rely on people reading the specifications page in depth. If its important should clearly and regularly be mentioned in emails. 
  • Biggest struggle so far was almost all clients  have sent files that were too large to be used… Chloe has had to email asking for smaller files, frustrating for all those involved
